How Trump won the West, how Trump lost it: The West is changing, and how the GOP is trying to figure out what it means for them

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough discusses the latest on the presidential race in the latest episode of “The Joe Scarborough Show.”

Scarborough talks about how Donald Trump’s victory is an historic turn for the West and how he is still trying to decide what it is he wants to do with his presidency.

“I think it’s going to be a long haul, but I think there are two ways to look at it, Joe,” Scarborough says.

Scarborough goes on to say that if Republicans want to win in 2020, they will have to accept that they will lose to Democrats and other groups in the future.”

But the one thing that I think Trump has in common with the rest of the Republicans is that they are so determined to see that their ideology wins out and they get things done, so I don’t see any hope for any other party in the United States to come back to the West.”
