Posted October 11, 2018 08:08:06 Australia’s biggest weekly newspaper is launching a new website and app to help you get inside its pages.
Auckland-based Media Shqiptear is launching the new online portal for Media, which has a circulation of more than 300,000 people in the metropolitan of Auckland, and plans to roll out the service to the rest of New Zealand by the end of the year.
“Our aim is to help our readers to get the inside scoop on what’s happening in the world, whether it’s a major international story, local news or a local story, and get the story into the hands of our readers,” Media Shqsportear managing director Chris Noyes said.
“Our goal is to be as close as possible to the source, so our users will be able to share the stories they’re reading with their friends and family.”
The new website will offer a range of features to help readers find stories, search for content and even to get in touch with journalists.
“There will be a newsfeed where you can find the most recent stories from each of our media outlets and you can also find out who’s covering the news,” Mr Noyed said.
“Our newsfeed will also be curated based on topics we cover.
For example, the story about the new A$500 million airport expansion is being picked out for us to cover.”
And you can even get a real-time view of what’s going on around you with our interactive maps.
New Zealand’s biggest daily newspaper, The New Zealand Herald, said it had been a long time coming. “
You’ll be able share your stories and photos with your friends and get in contact with our editors, who will be happy to share what they’ve been reading and the topics they’ve covered,” Mr Bajeet said.
New Zealand’s biggest daily newspaper, The New Zealand Herald, said it had been a long time coming.
“We were never looking to change the way we publish and we weren’t sure how big this would become, but we think the app will help us grow,” a spokesperson said.
“We’re thrilled to see that we can now use this new platform to share our stories with our readers.”
